It’s sort of a ritual.. All the devices humming and me sitting on the floor.. A rack full of electronics and cables like a modern totem pole, just outside the circle of the keyboards. A dream maybe, a distant idea of something or just pure exploration, endless curiosity about the sound..

This is intriguing improvised Ambient music. For a start I would recommend Live at Konemetsä on 2007-07-08. Well, at least that’s how I started thanks to a post at Isratrance.

Imagine this:

-that konemetsä gig was played to an audience of about 100 people who were either sleeping, in half-sleep or otherwise in coma
-it has it’s reflections on the vibe of the music, last sunday 6 - 8-40 am.
-the place itself was awesome, there were four different stages… and in the early morning there was mist rising from the forest. to which the lights displayed
-the different stages were in the forest, except the chill out tent… natural auditoriums and very organic
